A World Revolving Around The Internet

This week's lesson covered the effects of the internet on our personal lives and the others.  I began using the Internet in middle school, we had a class where you learned how to "surf" the internet.  I did not learn how to type until high school and I thank that teacher every time I come home.  Without having fast typing skills I would spend wasted hours on homework, and no one wants that.  When it comes to "social networking," I have mixed emotions.  At first I enjoyed Facebook  but now I feel like it's been taken over by old people and children who have nothing better to do, this includes both my parents.  Overall, the Internet has positively impacted our world.  Yes, it has it's negatives and in the past ten years has began to have a poor reputation.  Although, without the Internet where would we be today?  We have the Internet to thank for our fast advancing world.

  1. Amen. Facebook has been taken over, it doesn't have the same appeal as it once did.
